FireHawk is a carrier, along with his wife Pele Rouge, of an ancient body of Earth Wisdom Teachings that were given to them during a formal, eight-year apprenticeship with WindEagle and RainbowHawk, medicine keepers of the Origin Teachings of the Delicate Lodge. This ancient wisdom tradition comes through a lineage of many different indigenous peoples of both North and South America.
As a carrier of this oral tradition, FireHawk and Pele Rouge share the Teachings in a variety of ceremonial contexts all over the world, including rites of passage, individual and collective vision quests, wisdom councils and annual ceremonies in harmony with the cycles of the Earth. The name of their business is Resonance.
Prior to embarking on his apprenticeship FireHawk worked for two years as a collaborator and partner with Bill Veltrop at The International Center for Organizational Design. FireHawk’s focus in this period was to learn and deliver consulting based on Appreciative Inquiry, a systemic change process developed at Case Western Reserve University.
Before that for over 20 years FireHawk was a self-employed producer of large media projects for organizations wishing to get to the “heart of the matter” in telling their story to customers, employees and other stakeholders. His genius, in creating media for gatherings large and small all over the world, is to seek out and communicate the higher and deeper purpose underlying all of the “regular” messages.
His passion for photography, sound and moving images allow him to weave new stories together in new media that support transformation in individuals and organizations. He is currently part of a new collaboration in Second Life, a 3D virtual word, called Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) designed to create unique learning environments in cyberspace for those in search of the Sacred in the world of technology.
For the last 10 years, Pele and FireHawk have been partners with Craig and Patricia Neal of Heartland Circle, with whom they convene a bi-monthly circle gathering of Thought Leaders in the Bay area, aimed at nurturing and sustaining an ongoing community of evolutionary leaders.
FireHawk and Pele Rouge have six children, ranging in age from 24 to 46 and make their home in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California, where they offer some of their ceremonial teachings.
